Somehow, I envisioned something different and when I received this product, I was pleasantly surprised. These Smead Inndura Slash Jackets are very sturdy looking, and the pocket "slashes" go from the top to half-way down the page, with a pocket on either side. The fold-over seam is at the outer side and the bottom, giving each page a certain amount of rigidity. The colors are nice and see-through, except for the blue which is a little dark to be able to read through, should you need to.
Just in time for the new year, and setting up my new 2012 tax and billing book (a loose-leaf binder with inserts) these will be perfect. I will definitely be getting more to fill in the 12 months. Utilities in 1 pocket, credit card bills, etc. in the other. Each sheet easy to write on with a marking pen. Thank you Smead, for a solution to something that by the end of the year ends up being a little messy. It's that subtle rigidity that will make the difference.
